Talk:Real Madrid defeats Celta Vigo 4-0 in Copa del Rey octofinals
Journalist notes
editI attended this game live with another Wikimedian at Real Madrid's home grounds in Madrid. The game was a Copa del Rey quarter finale. Hence the Wednesday night fixture. The game started at like 9:30pm. Ronaldo scored three goals. The one ruled offside? He was really offside. I could see it. (The crowd booed it initially.) The fans were really, really loud. It was fantastic. Real Madrid didn't control the game for about the first 10 minutes but then they grabbed the game for the remainder of the first half. Then the game was sort of who wants it with neither team appearing all that dominant. I believe all three sources are used to verify the facts in the article. There are some inline comments verifying them. --LauraHale (talk) 18:59, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- Chatted in #wikipedia-es and they said this was the round of eight, not quarter finals. My bad. :( Source confusion.--LauraHale (talk) 19:10, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
- Confirming with the Spaniard in the room, in #wikipedia-es and using Single-elimination_tournament#Nomenclature, there were 16 teams in this round. Hence, Octofinals is the correct term. --LauraHale (talk) 19:18, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
