Talk:Protests at New York's Hamilton College over controversial professor

There is quite a difference between the "good germans" during the nazi era, and actually being a nazi. As such i think the title needs changing. The bellman 23:36, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Reply to The bellman,

Thought same first, but read the speech in full and he does come up with this:

If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I'd really be interested in hearing about it.

w:en:Adolf Eichmann being the main protagonist of the Nazi regime responsable for planning the details of the holocaust. So he is not only talking about silent profiteering from genozide but about active planning as well. 128.250.115.95 00:21, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Reply to The bellman,

I agree, but for a different reason. Churchill does indeed compare Americans to "little Eichmanns," referring to a high ranking Nazi who was largely responsible for the logistics of the extermination of millions of people during the Holocaust. "If there was a better, more effective, or in fact any other way of visiting some penalty befitting their participation upon the little Eichmanns inhabiting the sterile sanctuary of the twin towers, I'd really be interested in hearing about it"

However, Churchill's claims are not news. They were made on September 12, 2001 as a reactionary statement to the anti-islamic sentiment which directly followed 9/11. His remarks, while controversial, are not the news which is being reported in this article. The event being chronicled here is the protests students and teachers are raising against this radical professor being invited to Hamilton College.

The title should reflect that news. Glitch010101 00:31, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Well i moved it, and added the "little Eichmanns" claims. Any objections? The bellman 01:00, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Looks great - Thanks! Glitch010101 04:21, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Why is the word Australia in the title??? Is the New York! college run by an Australian institution? Apparently not, according to its website. How can we get rid of it if its a mistake?
