Talk:Police kill gunman in London, England
I have to get back to revision but:
- mans name was Mark Saunders ,32
- was caused by an argument with his wife Elizabeth Clarke, 40 *
- left a note on a shoe box “I love my wife dearly xxx.”
- argument caused here to run out of the house at 4:00pm *
- both family lawyers
- couple married in August 2006 but separated a few months ago. *
- shotgun was legal *
- both oxford graduates (he studied law at Christ Church College, Oxford. / she went to Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford.) id speculate they met there, but no citation
im getting lazy now these are just ripped from the times article so need rewording
- argument because of his 'increasingly drunken and erratic behaviour, that she could no longer love him or live with him.'
- he was a former trooper in the Honourable Artillery Company *
- 30 armed officers surrounded the building. In the hours that followed, nine of those officers returned fire at Mr Saunders.
- The Independent Police Complaints Commission has begun an investigation into the shooting.

It's normally a bad idea to use the ready tag, tends to get stuff lost. If you think it's ready, why not read i again, and then publish it. Nyarlathotep - (talk) 10:57, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
I think that's now ready to go. If someone else could check it and switch to develop/publish as needed... --JamesHarrison - (talk) 14:39, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
London, England
editSurely this is taking the "let's put country name after city like Americans do with states" thing too far? I would have thought any English speaker knew London was in England? I've certainly never seen "New York, United States" in an article name before. Harris Morgan - (talk) 19:30, 8 May 2008 (UTC).
