I createdEdit

I CREATED this interesting news article on ERV which is killing our hog industry and exports. I am Philippines Judge Florentino Floro, having registered with Wikinews on December 3, 2008, and is a Wikinews:Editor as of January 12, 2009.

Something Different - In having written more than "70 articles" (here - User:Florentino Floro/MyList and in Wikipedia Encyclopedia User:Florentino Floro/MyList2), I live with my Philosophy and hope to elevate Wikinews to the phenomenal success of Wikipedia encyclopedia, by writing very comprehensive, detailed and fully synthesized news, amid collaboration of editors and the final touch of the reviewer. Please do not be annoyed if sometimes, (due to stress and human factor - plus the fact that as lawyer and judge, I never ever had enrolled in any journalism subject), I would tend to relax the copyright rules and style guide, but, without however, violating the SPIRIT AND INTENT of both international law of copyright, and Wikinews rules on style guide. REST ASSURED, that in writing every news article, I VALUE fairness, justice, integrity and honesty. This is what NEWS WRITING is all about. Please help in publishing this news. Cheers.

2nd ReviewEdit

I added 2 sources to back up the facts and checked removed copy vios. Cheers.--Florentino Floro (talk) 06:02, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

2nd Review failedEdit

Despite its status as a Level-4 organism, the Reston ebolavirus is non-pathogenic to humans and is only mildly fatal to monkeys; the perception of its lethality was skewed due to the monkey's coinfection with Simian hemorrhagic fever virus (SHFV). = verbatim cut and paste from en.wikipedia article w:Reston ebolavirus, seemingly without attribution in sources or any modification/paraphrasing to the wording. Further, why cut and paste from the en.wikipedia article for this info, instead of simply doing the actual research into the sources cited at the end of the sentences in that wiki article? Cirt (talk) 06:24, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

3rd reviewEdit

I changed the part which failed with the official statement from our DOH: "Unlike the three subtypes, Zaire, Sudan and Ivory Coast, which can cause hemorrhagic symptoms, Reston does not. There has been no evidence that Reston can cause significant illness in humans. When Reston was previously found in monkeys, few animal handlers were infected but only one had very mild symptoms," the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) official website statement on the virus announced.[24] Cheers.--Florentino Floro (talk) 08:10, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

To ReviewersEdit

See the first and second reviews. If there were this many instances of blatant copyvio in the prior reviews, how many other instances of blatant copyvio are present in this article? Please be cautious when doing the review. Thanks, Cirt (talk) 09:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

The culling slowly began with only 442 pigs killed SundayEdit

I had updated this BIG and landmark reston virus which for the first time in world history affected 6 humans since this virus appeared from Philippine monkeys in 1989. Cheers.--Florentino Floro (talk) 05:54, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Funny newsEdit

Oh my God, in all the news I created this is the FUNNIEST: after pains in writing this article, I was shocked that the stun gun malfunctioned: so they agreed to use cal 32 pistol. Cheers.--Florentino Floro (talk) 08:23, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[25]

Much Funnier, policemen used .22 cal. and they have no gunsEdit

First they protested the inhumane shooting, now, due to bad captive pistols, they said .32 caliber handguns, but they don't have even one. So, 12 policemen were ordered to shoot with .22 cal guns. How can we not laugh at this news. It is becoming funny daily. So reality and money plus funds, spell the difference to these animal rights lovers. I added these sources and took off the old ones in the main article transferring here: [26]QTV: Culled pigs in Bulacan hog farm reaches 1,237 - 03/03/2009 [27]Faulty stun gun stalls pig depopulation By Dino Balabo Updated March 03, 2009 --Florentino Floro (talk) 06:47, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
