Thoughts

• There is a missing essential element in the lede. Perhaps I can provide it as reviewer without compromising my independence; I don't trust my judgement right now (tired). The missing element is a focal news event — specific relevant and fresh. These people didn't just discover this in the past couple of days; so that event would not be fresh, and arguably would not be specific either since a discovery like this is more of a collection of specific events. The specific event is apparently the publication of the paper.
• I really hoped I could review this tonight, but I'm just not sharp enough.

Update: Looking at the article fresh this morning, I see a problem far more serious than the above: the significance of the discovery isn't well enough explained in the lede nor, more broadly, near the top of the article; possibly the discovery itself will want clearer explanation in the lede as well. I think I'll need to study this more deeply in order to explain what's needed, so I plan to at least party source-check this before actually turning that into a not-ready review. --Pi zero (talk) 14:32, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

Note, though, before the move it was the last sentence in the article. It's an easy mistake to make, in fact it's a classic: see wikt:bury the lede. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.
