{{edit protected}} Please change the redirect to Category:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has been the name of the province since 2010. See the fourth paragraph of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa#After Pakistani independence for more details. Cheers. Green Giant (talk) 00:35, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Not done, proposed cat is redlinked. Moving a well-populated cat is a big job. First, you want to go to the water cooler and talk it out with other editors. If it's gonna be done it'd really be a job for a bot (which has been on my wishlist for a long time). BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 14:59, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • @Blood Red Sandman: - bot not needed. Categories now have move tabs so it is the same as renaming a page. The articles in the category can be moved very easily using Cat-a-lot from Commons, which can be activated through your global.js file at Meta. The whole task would take less than minute but the protected status means we need admin help. I'm not sure how much discussion would be needed given that the name was changed five years ago. It just seems a shame to have a category without the now-widely used name. Green Giant (talk) 16:14, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Not sure why you pinged me. This is bigger than one category or one request, it raises neatly problems I and others have long been aware of with categories. This conversation is going to get lost, being as it is held on a little-seen redirect talk page. BRS (Talk) (Contribs) 16:17, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Understood. Started a new section at Wikinews:Water cooler/proposals#Categories. Green Giant (talk) 16:58, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
