Source language

I'm going to take a stab at source-checking this. However, I direct attention to the remarks on non-English sources at WN:Cite sources#Considering the review process. Make no mistake, it's great if we can use non-English sources to provide information not available in the English mainstream press — but it can be a real problem for a reviewer. I expect this source-check will take me an unwontedly large effort for the article size, and it's possible I'll get partway through it and find myself unable to be sure about some point. --Pi zero (talk) 13:53, 18 June 2013 (UTC)

It was difficult, labor-intensive, and time-consuming. Although the autotranslator's raving about jars of wine was worth a laugh. There were some problems here with what we call "neutrality". This is effectively quite different for news than for an encyclopedia. A lot of news neutrality is about attributing claims of fact to who made the claim, rather than asserting that the claim is true. There was, especially, one sentence here that had claims that came from two different sources, both of them things that needed attributing. See WN:PILLARS#neutral. See the things that came up during review, including the neutrality problems, in the detailed history of edis during review. The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.
