Talk:Massive blackouts hit Florida

We should probably rename this as "Massive blackouts hit Florida". Currently, the outages are the result of the failure of eight power plants. 4.4 million customers in South Florida are affected, and there are outages in Tampa and Jacksonville as well. - I'm on TECO power in Tampa and we have not had a blackout yet. Not to say everyone doesn't, but it's not widespread yet. TheCustomOfLife - (talk) 20:12, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Then CNN is reporting it wrong. I got it from their article. --Kitch - (talk) 20:13, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, CNN was wrong. They corrected it already. Power outages not as "massive" as first thought. --Mbenzdabest - (talk) 20:51, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
