Talk:London serial murder accused Stephen Port makes first court appearance

Suggestion

As Port's going to be appearing at the Crown Court on Wednesday, why not wait until then and publish an article covering both appearances? Otherwise on Wednesday we'll have a main-page story about his first court appearance, which will be out of date. By all means complete a review of the article as it stands to save time, but for the sake of a few hours and unnecessary duplication of articles/work, a fuller article about both appearances tomorrow is perhaps preferable. If we produce a subsequent article on this story, and this one is still a lead at the time, in making the later article a lead we would typically displace the pre-existing lead on the same story rather than displacing the oldest lead (as we would more usually do, except for some tendency to let OR stay amongst the leads a bit longer). --Pi zero (talk) 16:48, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
