Talk:Japan nuclear disaster: areas to remain off-limits for decades
Attributing claims to sources
editA synthesis article shouldn't be a series of statements of the form "A according to source X, B according to source Y, C according to source Z". If there's no reason to doubt the content as reported by the source article, and the content isn't claimed to be exclusive to the Source article, we have no need to name the source in our article text.
For example, there's no reason to doubt the quote from Yukio Edano, and no reason to think it was an exclusive statement to the Japan Times, so there's no call to add extra words to our paragraph promoting Japan Times. Note, though, that when you pull the mention of Japan Times out of that paragraph, you're left with something too close to the Japan Times source, so our paragraph would then have to be rearranged. --Pi zero (talk) 16:12, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Comments by reviewer: I had to remove some stuff I couldn't find. If you want me to add them back in, just leave me a message explaining where in the sources I can find the info.
