I may be wrong but I feel that this article doesn't meet Wikinews:Neutral point of view for example

  1. Halper was going to Israel along with 40 other activists -- the activists not going to Israel - the activists were visiting Gaza. Gaza is not part of Israel, it is part of palestine.
  2. No Background Human rights coalition: Gaza at worst since 1967
  3. a blockade enacted in 2007 by the international community -- a blockade by Israel not the international community. As far as I know the international community i.e. U.N and NGO's has been trying to get past the siege to deliver supplys
  4. Authorities said they gave Halper and the rest of the activists a "one-time" pass to enter Gaza to avoid provoking them. -- suggests they had right to stop a boat from entering Gaza and what could they be provoked to do.
