why is "code red" in the title but the article? and what does it mean? --SVTCobra 09:58, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

it's what the health board said at their press releases. i'm guessing its a term used by MOH and DHBs sround the country for this sort of crisis situation. Loud noises 10:05, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I'm sorry, but is this even considered breaking news? No one is picking up this story and it relates to just one hospital declaring a nurse shortage. Look across America, this happens daily. - Andrew4010 19:04, 19 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

In New Zealand it doesn't. We are a small country will a small amount of hospitals. This isn't just about a few hospitals, this is he two hospitals in our captial city not being able to use its A&E dept. properly because it has no staff, thats quite serious.
