Talk:Hardliner wins Iran presidential runoff

I moved the article to "Hardliner...". I know that might set NPOV alarm bells ringing, but he is a hardliner - call a spade a spade and all that... Dan100 (Talk) 09:45, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I absolutely agree; and in the view of many, so are Bush and Cheney ("hardliners"). I like the word but its not in Wikipedia yet for some reason.Paulrevere2005 12:55, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

ok, just found a definition for "hardliner"at http://www.wordreference.com/definition/hardliner

"hardliner A noun #1 hardliner; "a conservative who is uncompromising"

This will be a good descriptive word for use with respect to many politicians; I think. Paulrevere2005 17:41, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I wouldn't disagree. Dan100 (Talk) 08:40, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Nor I, but I must also point out there are uncompromising reformists as well (the literal opposite of a conservative is a reformist or activist promoting change, specific or general.) What is the term for such a person? - Amgine/talk 26 June 2005 17:45 (UTC)
