Talk:Ford pulls ads from gay media facing AFA boycott

Sources edit

This is an interesting article, but all three sources have a clear bias against Ford's decision. Are there any news articles discussing this action from the other point of view, that Ford is making a good decision either from a moral or business point of view? - Amgine | talk 03:30, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

prolly hard to find as it would have to come from some pretty pov source itself, but im sure some silly religious site has some good words for it. Boneyard 09:17, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
Not from anyone sane. AFA will be boasting about it. Why not just quote them? Nyarlathotep 16:21, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Disney gives same-sex employees equal benefits edit

"The boycott had been launched over its holding of gay-related events at its theme parks and for giving same-sex employees equal benefits."

What's wrong with men receiving the same benefits as other men, or women the benefits of other women? Or am I interpreting "same-sex employees" incorrectly? Something seems to be missing from that phrase or sentence to clarify it.

Hopefully "same-sex" isn't short for "same-sex-partnered". Karen 01:17, 7 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
of course it is, well that is at least the intention. why hopefully btw? Boneyard 09:48, 7 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
