The lede should briefly summarize the focal news event by succinctly answering as many as reasonably possible of the basic questions about it. I'm not seeing that here; the headline indicates the focal event is the first marriages, but these aren't mentioned at all in the lede. The {{source}} templates are clearly rather badly misformatted. This shouldn't be difficult to get right; see published articles for examples. We don't use red-linked categories (that is, categories that don't exist). I'll fix those for you when I finish this review. It'd be advisable to move the image to the left side of the article and use an infobox. Perhaps {{New Zealand}}? Questions about the above? Ask.
