Few things that sticks with me to critique -- when talking about percentages, it is important to establish what is considered the base. Please find sources which mention on which day the said event took place -- the BBC hardly does that, knocking "when" from the news. Also, stick with past tense for things that happened in the past. An image of EC President would be good.
