Found a rather long passage (nine words, distinctive turn of phrase) copied from source.
The temporary nature of the opening seems important to understanding what happened; I tweaked the lede on this point.
There need to be at least three paragraphs. Also, the lede is supposed to be very succinct, leaving details for later. Fortunately, these two things were both solved, here, by inserting a paragraph break after the first sentence.
I hesitated over the reference to Umrah (which is, to my understanding, not a commandment as such). It would need to be explained for readers anyway since, as the article was written, readers really wouldn't understand the core of what was being said unless they knew it's a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia; and afaics none of the sources use the word anyway.
Attribute claims to who said them. This is not the same as saying it's from such-and-such news agency. Only credit a news agency with something if they got an exclusive, not if the information is corroborated by multiple independent sources. Since the focusneeds to be verified by multiple independent sources, it's almost certainly wrong to be attributing the focus to a particular news source. In this case, multiple sources appear to have gotten their information, independently, from various Palestinian officials.
A bunch of detail in the last paragraph, I couldn't find in the sources. Background information can often be drawn from previously published Wikinews articles; to do so, use a Related news section to cite the previous Wikinews article (using the {{wikinews}} template instead of the {{source}} template; {{wikinews}} takes just two parameters: title= and date=).
