"pulling ahead in the polls"

edit

Does that mean that he is ahead of the other candidates, or that his ratings have been increasing? (sorry, non-native English speaker here). In either case, numeric figures to illustrate this statement are needed, aren't they?

It would be nice if the author did, but I think it usually suffices if the cited sources have the hard facts. (Don't take my word for it though, I am not an admin). --SVTCobra 03:43, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Political survival

[...] attempting to appear calm when it is clear that he is running for his political surival.

The sources imply nothing of the kind, and this could be interpreted as slightly POV. Rephrase, remove? Naphra 19:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

POV

edit

There are several lines in the article that seem blatantly anti-Sarkozy POV, the "bourgeous" being "enraptured", "unfortunately" (referring to Sarkozy's way of doing things), etc. Just a lot of stuff that make this article seem highly unprofessional. 128.187.0.178 07:54, 27 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
