I dont understand what you are saying. Why has the article been removed?--elliot_k 13:07, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
- The correct tag is [[Category:Local only]]. Not sure if this should be excluded or not, so I've just corrected it to match Whywhywhy's wishes. Brian McNeil / talk 13:23, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
- yyy - Perhaps your'e referring to the Australia-centric POV of the article. I'm still searching for more Indonesian and Papau info... Will refresh the story if and when I find more sources. Lack of media outlets in the region mean not much else is available besides the Aussie gear. Cheers, --elliot_k 14:55, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
- I was surprised it showed up on the main page even with the local only category, but it previously wasn't showing up because the date was mis-formatted. Based on Whywhywhy's comment it might be better to rename to something descriptive of the location of the earthquake (sea/ocean/nearest landmass) and mention its effects being felt in Darwin. Good luck on your search for sources. Brian McNeil / talk 15:03, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
There's no reason to keep this article off the main page at the moment because the entire Wiki is only producing about five articles a day. It is a well-written and comprehensive article, and in my opinion we should be showing it off, not hiding it. - Borofkin 23:19, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
