Talk:Cyberattack, not HBO comedian, caused website wipeout, says FCC
"British comedian"
editJohn Oliver is far more famous in the U.S. than the UK. Although technically correct, perhaps referring to him as a British comedian in the headline is misleading? Microchip08 (talk) 01:43, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- Sounds like you're saying he is British but other things about him are more important. Good idea. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:18, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
Mention Trump vs Obama?
editThe mainstream sources connect the 2014 establishment of these regulations to Obama and the proposed relaxation to Trump, but only by mentioning who appointed the FCC chiefs. Any thoughts on how much we should get into that? Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:12, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
External link to YouTube
editWe're under review right now or I'd just add it, but LastWeekTonight's official YouTube channel has made the sequence in question available for free on YouTube. I think it would be a good tie-in as an external link. Darkfrog24 (talk) 11:48, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

- I really should have insisted on not using abbreviation FCC in the headline. International readers won't know what that is, and the style guide warns against using abbreviations in headlines in most situations, including this one. --Pi zero (talk) 13:26, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
