"British" West Indies?

Is it correct to refer to the team as the team of the "British West Indies"? Yes, the entity that was once the British West Indies does form the basis of the West Indies team, but as far as I understand it, the team/board/players association all happily refer to themselves as simply "West Indian", and there is no reference to the British West Indies anywhere in their literature.203.26.122.12 03:47, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
