I saw a mathematician had died a while back, myself, and momentarily considered writing it up for Wikinews before realizing it was already more than three days after the event. Thanks for writing this.

(Btw, generally avoid using "social media" sources such as Medium; I did allow it this time, with a great deal of surreptitious sanity-checking and even a dose of personal knowledge of mathematics shoring it up, but consider it a one-time sort of thing.) --Pi zero (talk) 04:49, 13 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, usually I try to avoid Medium unless the author is notable in their field. I begrudgingly used it as a source only because I couldn't find many others with such detailed information. --Ixfd64 (talk) 06:06, 13 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
