Eric Pickles is Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, not Culture Secretary. That makes him the correct government Minister to issue the warning.
The Guardian article was repeating already known facts, mentioned in the recent BBC Panorama programme and detailed in an earlier article by John Sweeney on the BBC website. http://news.bbc.co.uk/panorama/hi/front_page/newsid_9038000/9038529.stm This in turn used information obtained in FOIA requests made to local authorities by critics of the Church of Scientology. --Hartley Patterson (talk) 13:18, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
