"gang colour" and "symbol of hate": i like that. I'll use it from now on. Thanks! --Jerome Potts 03:14, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Big Day Out Flag Issue edit

There was no flag ban at The Big Day Out. There was a recommendation from Big Day Out asking that unruly patrons not bring their flags. This was presented as a personal choice. The tabloids and shockjocks paraphrased this recommendation, falsely describing it as a 'ban' to sensationalise the issue and inflame their audience. It is an example of the innacurate and hysterical journalism that Sydney is famous for. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Paul Wave (talkcontribs) 13:10, 6 March 2007

thank you for bringing this to our notice. we'll look into it and add a {{correction}} if needed.  — Doldrums(talk) 08:19, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
They were going to ban flags, that's what the committee recommended, however they backed down, this is stated in the article. There is no need for a {{correction}} in this case imo, however it is just the title that is slightly incorrect, perhaps rename to have commas around "flag ban" part of the title Brian | (Talk) | New Zealand Portal 08:58, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
