You need not wait for me or anyone. It doesn' thave to be my article; it can be ours, like this team effort that just made the main page: Lost submarine found with new translation. Not everyone has to be a reviewer to have a good time bringing news to the people! I'm guessing that you didn't happen to know what PLoS ONE is, so you might not be the best person to flesh that out for the readers, but do you think this article needs a paragraph on ibises?
