Distance from source

edit

On my preliminary comparison with the sources, I've found a number of similarities to sources. It's always a problem, when reviewing, to know whether one ought to try to fix these sorts of problems. On one hand, describing to someone else what problems need addressed can be very awkward and inefficient. On the other hand, if the preliminary check picks up some stuff, it may be a warning of more problems one will discover later, and then one can keep fixing individual problems as encountered until involvement has snuck in and the reviewer ends up struggling with whether to disqualify themself from review. I've often ended up deeply regretting trying to fix these sorts of problems; but there's no way to know ahead of time.

I'm going to take a stab at fixing the problems. Knock wood. --Pi zero (talk) 22:06, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

When you say distance from source issues do you mean too close or too far? Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:09, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
