I don't think that as a journalist, you should just accept a government website as your sole source. I think it goes against neutrality and such. I agree, the Coast Guard lying about a drug bust is probably low risk. But how do think people would react if you used the Marine Corps website as your sole source for an article about Guantánamo? Or how would you react, if I wrote an article about Iranian nuclear weapons, citing only Iranian gov't websites? --SVTCobra 15:53, 24 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
