Talk:2013 Autumn Old and Antique Bookfair continues in Madrid
Journalist notes
editI attended this bookfair. (I actually attended this bookfair two times before, and am almost the mayor on Foursquare.) I asked two people I know about the bookfair. They said it is one of a few large bookfairs in Spain, but it is not the largest. This bookfair is pretty widely known and widely respected though inside Madrid, but is not on par with the one that attracts international vendors, authors and noble prize winners in literature. The weather was lovely at about 71F/21C. There was no rain. It started around Calle Prim.[1] If you check streetview on the map, you can place where the fair is by the fountain. The fair only had 39 vendors as all the stalls were numbered and in a straight row. One of the stalls, stall number 1, was for the organizers and sold the book and the poster referenced in the sources. The government sponsorship was seen on a few of the posters that were about. Líberia is Spanish for bookstore, bookshop. It is not library. (Google Translate translates it as library, hence the notification.) --LauraHale (talk) 19:25, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

- Renamed and tried to address the feedback. The people who I talked to about this bookfair are both natives of Madrid who love books and regularly attend these in Madrid. (Can verify who they are on IRC.) The weather was pretty beautiful at the thing.
- Added more information on the location. Paseo de Recoletos is a main street. The Plaza de Cibeles is on one side and Calle Prim on the other. (Google Maps can verify some of this if comparing the pictures.) There is a metro stop really close by. --LauraHale (talk) 08:10, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
