Removing content verified in a bizzillion newspapers

Removing my old words.... "In 2000 she was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame." This is not on the the US Hockey Hall of Fame list of enshrinees web site, but it is in newspapers galore... Title change again

Could the title be Colleen Howe, sports agent for former hockey player Gordie Howe, dies at age 76

This focuses more on her notability / gift / claim to fame, rather than the archaic, women's claim to fame is being the wife of somebody. or is it more personal for an obituary the way it is.SriMesh | talk 05:19, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Collen Howe, funeral March 11, 2009, article killed on wikinews March 11, 2009

The funeral for Colleen Howe is March 11, 2009, today. The article was written timely about the passing, but the wikinews process did not work as a collaboration of editors coming together for her. It is a great tragedy that wikinews could not honour Colleen Howe, as she seemed to indeed be an awesome lady. You may as well delete her. SriMesh | talk 01:00, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

OK, it just seems that dates lapsing is the best way of not having an article on wikinews rather than addressing issues, and I guess I liked Colleen, even though I never met her. It was so titled because it was published upon her being put into the ground, rather than at the time of her death. It was going stale but I allowed it after details of the funeral were added.
