Prix de West exhibit opens in Oklahoma City

Saturday, June 10, 2006 The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum exhibit, Prix de West, opened yesterday and will exhibit 313 paintings and sculptures by contemporary western artists from Oklahoma. All exhibit pieces will remain on display until September 10 and will be available for sale at a fixed-price this weekend. The total value of the works on display is approximately $4.1 million.

Today, during the exhibition's banquet, the museum is to present Bob Kuhn with their lifetime achievement award. Over 50 pieces of his work is being featured in a special exhibit at the museum.
