Noosa have retaken top spot on the 2014 Sunshine Coast Rugby Union ladder after beating Caloundra 22 points to 8 in Caloundra, Australia yesterday.

Caloundra opened the scoring six minutes in through a penalty goal. Noosa would even up the scores seven minutes later, and take the lead by the end of the half. 10–3 Noosa at half time.

Caloundra almost scored a try in the first three minutes of the second half but the ball was lost forward by a Noosa player attempting to intercept a pass. Noosa would seemingly shut out the game with a converted try. But Caloundra hit back three minutes later with a try of their own.

They couldn't capitalise, however, allowing Noosa to score one further try to take the score to 22–8.

In the round's other game, Toads defeated Maroochydore 31 points to 24. University had a bye.
