Lucknow: Convent school ransacked by BJYM activists

Loreto Convent School, a 134 year old educational institution in Lucknow, India was vandalized by around 40 activists belonging to Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha on Sunday evening.

The activists assembled to protest a session conducted in school premises to invoke the spirit of Jesus Christ by one Nobo Kumar Mondal.

As per reports, a few students fell unconscious as Mr.Mandal from Murshidabad, West Bengal asked students to lift their hands in prayer after chanting something.

All Catholic Institutions in Lucknow will remain closed on Monday in protest of the vandalism.

Three activists have been arrested as they have broken gates, flowerpots and smashed the glass panes of the chapel and principal's office.
