Moral Victory for Italy

edit

I think that Italy has won a moral victory not only in the eyes of their people but also the eyes and minds of the world. I personally as an African American decendant of slaves, in this dispensation of time feels as though this was the best course of action though the money and agreements cant take back the brutal history of colonilism, it shows that at least the Italian Govt is owning up to the wrongs of their fathers in an attempt to move foward as a people. Bravo Italy!

Regarless of the degree severity, I think every colonizer has caused wounds to thier colonies. Therefore, speaking of Italy, if italy has caused wounds to its former colony Libya; and this has been recognized through apolozy and compensation, then as a former colony of Italy, Eritrea must also get her fair share of compensation.
