There is no light side or dark side of the moon edit

The sun rises and sets all over the moon. There is no permanently light or dark side. Thereis however a near side and a far side, relative to the Earth.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.191.85.194 (talkcontribs)

Former Soviet Union edit

'The other countries which have sent spacecraft to the Moon are the United States, the former Soviet Union...' . This is incorrect. It was simply the 'Soviet Union'; 'the former Soviet Union' is used only to discuss developments since its demise. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 31.51.165.106 (talkcontribs) 16:39, 5 June 2017‎

The sentence says countries are. The Soviet Union was a country, but is a former country. --Pi zero (talk) 18:56, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
