What does this say about the U.S.? edit

Millions of people live on a cup or two of rice a day, and someone wins $10,000 for eating dozens and dozens of hotdogs? --Brian McNeil / talk 10:13, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

America, fuck yeah! If people don't want to live off of 2 cups of rice per day, then why do they live in a poor nation ruled by an oppressive government? GTFO!
Well, gee! Perhaps if all they can afford is 2 cups of rice a day then a plane ticket is out of the question. In India alone there are millions in this situation, and this is the biggest democracy in the world. No "oppressive government" there. If you can't see what is wrong with glorifying the consumption of excessive amounts of food, then there is no hope for you. Come the revolution you should be one of the first against the wall. --Brian McNeil / talk 22:38, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
They could of course sell their rice fields to the EU who will use it to make their excellent biofuels. Sure, they will starve and die in agonising pain, but at least the Eurocrats can feel secure about fuelling their limousines without using up all our non-renewable fossil fuels! P.S. Not shooting you down for living in Belgium, Brianmc, just having a little rant about the EU! Harris Morgan (talk) 22:46, 7 July 2008 (UTC).Reply
There are plenty of regions of India that see the central government as oppressive. Also, following Brianmc's train of thought: What does Karni Mata say about India? Here people give perfectly good food to rats. What does La Tomatina say about Spain? Here, one-hundred metric tons of tomatoes are wasted just for fun. The truth is they say nothing about the countries nor their residents, and I resent Brianmc's insinuation. --SVTCobra 00:18, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
