Duh edit

It's a funny thing, censoring stuff to protect kids - particular kids of a certain age group (teenagers particularly). The thing is, there's a certain subset of those kids who, when you say "You can't look at this picture, you can't listen to this music, you can't read this book" will go "... I'm sorry, *what* can't we look at? *What* can't we listen to? *What* can't we read? Right, we'll see about that!" and all it does is draw attention to it and it doesn't take them long to find the workarounds. Hooray for the Streisand effect. Is it just me who thinks that the difference between arab countries and western democraties is getting more and more symbolic? Why do we need internet watchdogs? Who entitled them? And how do they believe that there is an effective censorship possible in our age? All they do is to draw attention to the censored things. - 141.76.176.199 12:12, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Get some proper encryption and this all means nothing. Fephisto (talk) 17:50, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
