It makes a change to see a Council actually think about saving money rather than just waste it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 90.202.224.240 (talk • contribs) 14:49, 24 August 2009
Political Correctness?
editIs this an attempt to be PC? To me it seems that they found a way to piss off two religions at once! Nice going, retards. --65.51.209.124 (talk) 17:22, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Haha, by the time December comes all the decorations will be worn out and need to be replaced. Not to mention how tacky it looks to have holiday decorations hanging all over for half the year.--192.138.51.34 (talk) 15:06, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, sadly. I can barely keep holiday decorations up for 4 weeks before they start blowing down and falling apart. –Juliancolton | Talk 20:21, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Saving £10,000?
editIf sales have taught me anything, it's that saving £10,000 means spending a hell of a lot more. How can a town that spends so much on decorations claim to be working to save money? That's like replacing your TV with one twice the size because you got it for 10% off when you had no money to begin with!
