Tragic loss of three fans of vintage aircraft, and a celebrity airplane | 1 | 14:04, 3 August 2010 |
It appears that this aircraft, registration N709RR, was owned by an Alaskan air cargo company, whose owner, the plane's pilot, died in the crash. This is tragic in itself.
According to Internet reports, movie fans may recognise it from Con Air (1997).
