Wow, this is pretty ridiculous. I guess I'm one of the few Canadians that know where the Olympics is happening. Not to mention, but I've been to Whistler, Vancouver and Richmond, where the Olympics will happen. They are all great places that I would go to again (and maybe for the Olympics!). This is really surprising. FellowWiki Newsie 20:51, 7 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't want to be mean or racist to the Canadian culture, but I'm afraid Canadians don't really watch the news or read the newspaper, or apparently, they don't even care! I live in Canada and at work I am dumbfounded when I hear that some of my friends haven't heard of important things happening in the world. After a few years, my expectations of Canadians have decreased and nobody likes to hear that but it's the truth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.53.218.230 (talk) 02:53, 9 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I read the newspaper, watch the TV news, read Wikinews, etc, etc, all the time. I really care about what's going on in the world. There is tons of stuff happening every day around the world! We should not be close minded and not read the news, and only read about what's going on in one country!! I don't feel sorry for those people at your office. They just don't care. Pretty sad. To the IP: that is very stereotypical. That's like saying that you've seen three Scotsmen in kilts, therefore they all wear kilts. Not likely... WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDEN 19:35, 9 December 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by WeBuriedOurSecretsInTheGarden (talkcontribs) Reply
