What is the point of saying "by a margin of less than 1 billion US Dollars?"99.32.186.55 (talk) 23:44, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this slighty confused me as to what the writer was trying to say. DrNegative (talk) 23:40, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I was trying to explain the margin, which is somewhere bteween 750 million and 1 billion dollars, so I rounded it up a bit (since it changes every time someone buys a ticket). If you can think of a way to phrase it better, please feel free to edit the article. This is a wiki, after all =). Dendodge T\C 00:00, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
"Avatar has overtaken Titanic by a margin of less than one billion US dollars, with both films grossing in excess of $1.843bn." If each film has grossed about $1.8bn, then where's the margin of $1bn between them? Did you meant to write "$1 million", perhaps? Bencherlite (talk) 00:06, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I think I messed up. It should be over 15 million. It's been less than a day, so I can fix it without issuing a {{correction}}. Dendodge T\C 00:16, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
