Category talk:Gilgit-Baltistan
Regarding this edit, I disagree with removing this category from Category:Pakistan. Absolutely I agree that it is a grey area e.g. there is no representation in the Pakistani parliament, but removing it from CAT:Pakistan would suggest there is no link whatsoever. Looking through the Wikipedia article, I’ve eventually reached this page, which seems to be the legal basis for the current political status of this territory. The territorial governor is appointed by the government of Pakistan, which also has a cabinet minister who specifically oversees Gilgit-Baltistan and the neighbouring Azad Kashmir. I also note that the Indian-administered part of Kashmir has significant autonomy in comparison to other Indian states. I think it’s better to link the relevant subcategories to the countries that administer them. Green Giant (talk) 16:11, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
- Curacao is part of the Kingdom of Netherlands, but we don't have that mentioned in the category, so I guess a simple rollback does not clarify this situation, and we need a discussion.
