The scope of this article will include events relating to Earth as a planet, but not space endeavours, so as to be distinct from space (unlike categories archaeology, anthropology and anthropology and archaeology, which need to be merged), and include scientific information on Earth, but not its environment, so as to be distinct from environment, and also exclude all political etc info. Space landings will also remain categorised in the place where they landed, ie French Guiana or Texas.

- Done. @JJLiu112: I think we will need a usage note to distinguish between this category and CAT:World. I don’t have much time now to draft it but if you want to, go for it. Also I suspect there may be more articles to categorise here. The merging of the archaeology and anthropology cats has been on the back burner for a while. I’ll look at it at some point soon. - Might be good to actually delete World & replace it with this. Articles there are really clearly miscategorised... JJLiu112 (talk) 17:02, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
