New Zealand beat Canada by 114 runs in Group C of the World Cup at the Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.
This match saw Brendon McCullum of New Zealand hit the fastest ever Cricket World Cup half century off just 20 balls. In reply, Canada achieved the highest total in their World Cup history.
