deleted article about Irqaqi prisoner abuse

I am very curious what happened to the basic issue behind the article about further allegations of prisoner abuse in Iraq. An article appeared on this subject, I think it was on Monday. Due to problems with an unsupported and inflammatory quote that it included, it was quickly moved to the "in preparation" column, but it then completely disappeared. Although the original quote may have been false, I was under the impression that there was indeed an issue about whether the government could block the release of further documents. But I can find nothing on this on any of the current listings. Was the whole thing a hoax? I hope that someone can clarify this.
