Wikinews talk:Editorial reviewing

Latest comment: 15 years ago by Brianmc

Please try to adhere to the following with this.

  1. Avoid jargon only familiar to Wikinewsies
  2. Keep the reading level down (i.e. avoid run-on and rambling)
  3. Double-check terms are used consistently
  4. Keep it short, the message is we're trying to do our best
  5. Always assume the reader is a first-time visitor
  6. Avoid wikilinking to overly geeky pages
  7. Check all wikilinked to pages are at least semi-protected (on Wikinews, not elsewhere)

The intended use of this page is preferably as a footer link on every page, and/or as a link from the main page. --Brian McNeil / talk 09:39, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
