Add new "editprotected" user group

Hi all, I'd like to propose to add a new user group with the "editprotected" right. Its purpose is to allow trusted editors to edit news archives to make changes, such as lint error fixes and other issues listed at Wikinews:Archive_conventions#Post-archival_edits. --Minorax (talk) 07:46, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That would still require someone with the reviewer bits to review those edits. Handing out reviewer bits is, even for just one domain, imho, not a good idea.

Well, this user right can be given to those who already have the autoreview/reviewer right upon request. As for others, they should probably request for it at RFP. --Minorax (talk) 08:05, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
