I need a video training

I need video training on how to post news for Nigeria. I am a Journalist and a blogger. I would love to represent Nigeria, I want to post news as they happen in Nigeria on Wikinews. Please can you help me with how to start a new page, how to cite sources, add headlines?

Thank you

Howdy! You can go take a look at Wikinews:Writing an article. As far as VIDEO training I don't believe there is any. Hope this helps! --Newsjunky12 (talk) 03:10, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing

Just a very gentle nudge.........for ANYONE who is a Reviewer. We sure have a lot of articles needing review. If anyone can jump in there......it'd be awfully nice if you could.--Bddpaux (talk) 01:55, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be able to get to some this afternoon my time (UTC+10). --RockerballAustralia contribs 02:02, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Very glad to hear that. Y'know, it is at least a tiny bit adolescent of me, but it begs to be said. We get the news, we write the news and we publish the news.....that is the 'core' of our spirit here. There is an abundance of chatter here lately BUT/AND we have some smart people volunteering here. We also have a very tiny roster of people here DEEPLY caught up in applying the LETTER of the law around here. I have not a single problem with adhering to standards -- all news organizations should have and maintain them. But, something has just....I dunno, spun off around here in recent days. I really miss Pi Zero....I truly do. That dude was solid as an oak tree.

For an array of reasons, I need to take a LONG coffee break from this project, I truly do. The wonderful thing about a wiki is that NOONE IS IN CHARGE. The nastiness of a wiki is that NOONE IS IN CHARGE. I will be largely unreachable and unresponsive for several days. One has to sort of "find" their own rewards with a project like this, and I might've lost my internal sense of all that. So, I'm entering into the bog for a bit, until I can re-calibrate in that regard.--Bddpaux (talk) 21:55, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article review backlog

I don't like to be pushy here, but this is getting kind of ridiculous. We have 12 articles in the queue, one as old as from 9 days. Just judging by when they were submitted, most of them are already stale. We haven't had an article published in a week, despite the quantity of articles in the queue. Could someone please try to get to some of the older ones before they get stale? --LivelyRatification (talk) 05:06, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
