The first time in history a member of Spains royal family, Princess Cristina arrived in court to be questioned about a fraud and money laundering case she and her husband Inaki Urandangarin could be charged for. Inaki Urandangarin is alleged to have defrauded regional governments of millions of euros of public money. While Cristina is allegedly accused of using some of the money for her own personal expenses.

US citizen Kenneth Bae has returned to a labor camp in North Korea after being hospitalized and has been sentenced for 15 yrs of hard labor for unspecified hostile acts. Obama's remarks on freeing Bae uplifted their spirits.
