   1. /me notes that's probably not a bottle neck given the number of hits the site gets (and doing that might not make it all that faster, since they're both hosted from the same server).       • This is not to optimise performance server-side. Yes, it would allow such at a future point. However, it tends to have an impact client-side in that a browser will see different domains and send more parallel requests where it might otherwise queue requests if all to the same hostname. --Brian McNeil / ^talk 20:28, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

I currently have access to limesurvey, which I'm uploading as I type. It would be useful to have access to the MediaWiki installation in my own right – I've installed a few extensions and settings, I'm happy to continue. By the way, Dendodge raised a concern that "original.wikinewsie.org" was a pretty long domain name, and was wondering why it wasn't just "wikinewsie.org/wiki". — μ 21:51, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
