Timeliness and newsworthiness edit

Wikinews does not publish articles dated in the past. Also, we require at least two sources. Please read WN:Newsworthy. Cheers, SVTCobra 14:06, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I reiterate my comment above. Facts don't cease to be facts, but news ceases to be news. Whether it is from 1599 or 2013, it is way too old. We have a time frame of just a couple of days. It's a pity you spend your time writing these because the Boston Marathon article was quite well written and looked like it took quite a bit of effort. --SVTCobra 17:06, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I do not know why you keep creating articles that fail to meet basic definitions, however, it has been explained to you several times. If you persist in this behavior, I will deem it to be disruptive to the project. --SVTCobra 11:43, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am categorizing your activity as being deliberately disruptive and issued temporary sanctions. --SVTCobra 17:37, 27 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your return from the previously block shows you continue to ignore warnings about newsworthiness of the items you post. You leave me no choice but to issue a longer period during which you cannot create articles. --SVTCobra 12:31, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
